You are What You Do

No matter how much you hate/love your life now, it is very much due to your own doings.

Sometimes, we look at ourselves, saying we are not smart enough, unlike 'someone' else.

But at times, we only look at the bright side of the 'someone', we did not look at their struggle in order to be that good.

We often jealous of others' wealth, but we always just jealous.

We don't like to work hard, we prefer and choose relaxing lifestyle.

A little bit of struggle will make us feel disappointed, or feel like it's not something suppose to happen to us, feel like we don't deserve it, and then quit.

Looking at the risks/uncertainties ahead, then feeling insecure, and turn back to the comfort zone.

Comfort zone, slowly (actually not slowly, it's always) becoming somewhere we belong to.

And we refuse to get out from there, and don't want others to get out from there to.

That's why we always discourage people around us to make changes in their life. If they do, we will persecute them.

But, those who become successful in their life, are often those make changes in their life, are those who get out of their comfort zone since the very beginning.

They went through a lot of persecutions and discriminations. They endure, and go on.

We laughed at them.

Now, when they are successful, we jealous of them. And worse off, we start to pick on them, keep persecuting them. Spreading rumors about them, amplifying their flaws in life (who doesn't have flaws, are we God?).

But afterall, deep in our heart, we wish that we are as success as them.

But it's always too late.

We are what we are, because of our own doings.

We chose easy life, and that's logical that we achieve little.

Right now, it's our choice, while we are still young, to decide:

To get out of the comfort zone, or just chill in there?

Towards Minimalism

Yes, towards minimalism.

It's not a religion, it's just a way of life.

There are too many needless things in life that we are taking care of.

Many of them, are just unnecessary.

Most of them, we do it, just to please others.

Even things.

Many things that we are keeping, are useless, and we are still keeping them, cause we think it will be a waste if we just throw them away.

But why we never consider the presence of them as the waste of space?

Towards minimalism.

Get rid of needless things in life.

Do less and focus more.

Own less things and fully utilize them.

Good for the environment and for ourselves.

Wait

Wait. Slow down. We are all moving too fast.

We move on very fast, thinking that the faster we move on, the more we will get.

We move so fast that we don't even have time to read a book and to have a meaningful conversation.

We don't have time to cultivate the wisdom within us.

In the end, we are moving forward, very fast, and losing a lot in the process.

The things we are chasing, are never enough to satisfy ourselves, so we keep chasing.

The things we lost along the way, always make us feel regret, and keep regretting.

In the end, we gain no happiness, only more suffering and sorrowness.

We lost our patient as we move so fast. We want instant results in everything.

We want to pick the fruits and eat, but we don't want to wait for them to ripe.

We want to see flowers, but we don't want to wait for them to grow.

We want many things, but we don't want to work for them.

But, in real life, many things, we just need to wait, and work for them, and gradually, we will get them.

But we just don't want to wait.

So we ended up talking all day long, about things we 'deserve' but never 'get'.

Waiting, is becoming something crappy for most of us.

An ancient wisdom that always work, but we considered it as crap. So we ended up getting more craps in our life.

In control

In real life, nothing is in control.

Controlling life is just an illusion, as you will never know what will tomorrow bring you.

As we can never really control our life, it's very frustrating for us when our life is out of our control.

Happy people, normally don't try to control life.

They just let life happens, and go along with it.

Come what may. Let it be.

So, in control, or being happy, which one to choose?

Progression of being adults

Don't be afraid to be stupid or silly.

Don't be afraid to be different.

If we are afraid to do any stupid things, we won't try any new things.

If we don't try any new things in life, we won't progress.

Our mind will be becoming stagnant, closed.

As we grow older this way, we don't gain wisdom, we are only feeding on our ego.

Slowly, that is becoming the misconception of 'becoming an adult'.

We slowly becoming the 'authority' of nothing.

We cannot accept challenges in life anymore, and try to stop others from accepting too.

We do it, to create the so-called 'norm of society'.

When the 'norm of society' is created, in a community, we tend to persecute those who don't act the same way as we are.

We give credits and praises to those who do exactly the same thing as we do.

We dissapprove anything we don't understand.

Slowly, the 'norm of society' becoming 'tradition'.

Becoming 'culture', then even 'religious'.

That will be the time when 'innovativity' and 'creativity' are gone.

Worse off, those with 'innovativity' and 'creativity' will be considered as alien of society.

Slowly and dangerously, we are not progressing, in fact, it's degrading.

Rotting.

And we are considering ourselves as 'adults'.

Do not disturb

Especially when you are working.

When you are concentrating doing something.

How nice if I wear one of those.

Dream

Yes.

Why stop dreaming anyway?

Without dreams, how can we visualize where we should do in the future, or where we should go?

The day when you stop dreaming, is the day your passion is gone.

It's scary to even think of it.

Some important thing to remember

Separate events are separate.

If you are a salesman, if you are using the same ineffective approach on one thousand people, it's not going to start working better just because you use it more often.

Using various approach, on the same people, and you might make the sale.

If you buy lottery tickets for one thousand times, you are not going to win it just because you buy it more often, because each time you buy, is the separate events.

You can only increase the chances you win, by buying more, each time.

Initiation

Learning is fine.

Listening is good.

But initiating is rare, valuable and essential.

It's hard.

Invisible Walls

There are too many invisible walls surrounding us.

They are determining can, cannot, should, should not in our life.

Sometimes, invisible walls telling us what we like, or dislike; comfortable, or uncomfortable.

These walls are limitation set by ourselves. It's all from our own mind.

They are formed, as the results of the our culture and ego.

And we afraid to be embarrassed.

Embarrassment? Do you think people around you really care about you? Those so-called embarassments are imaginary, and soon will past, without anyone even remembering it, except yourself.

Culture? Who set it? Right or wrong, who can decide it?

If you cannot answer it, why should you care about it?

Ego? Is the world evolved around you? No.

So, why you hang on so much on your ego?

Time to break our invisible walls.

I need to break them, one by one.

Good luck to me!

Life is an art

Life is an art.

Art is a very personal thing.

Things you considered artistic, may be just another junk for others.

While art of others, may be junks for you.

If it's so personal, why are we bother to judge it?

You work on your art; he works on his; and I work on mine. Peaceful.

Why arguing on which drawing or poem is more beautiful?

Do you even understand the meaning behind every drawing or poem?

If you don't understand, why you judge?

Gradually

There is no quick fix in life. I strongly believe in that.

Everything that we are now, is the result of accumulation of little things and actions. Our habits, personality, health, wealth and so on.

Everyday, we do many little things, thinking that they are nothing.

But, after a while, the things you are doing, are becoming your habits.

Your habits, are determining your health now, or in the future.

The things that you are thinking, are becoming your mindset, shaping your personality.

Your mindset, personality, are determining the wealth now, or in the future, directly, or indirectly.

It's all happening gradually, without you noticing them.

The problem we are facing now, is that we like to pay attention to the immediate, big, splashy things.

We like quick fix, whether in health, or wealth.

I believe that the so-called quick fix, is actually like the concept of using credit card. You may get what you want instantly, but someday, you have to pay them back, with huge amount of interest.

The problem is: The time when you need to 'pay back', you might realise that you actually don't have anything to 'pay back'.

So, be patient in your life. Remember that essential things in your life, happen gradually.

Now you might be poor, physically, or mentally. But, be persevere!

Chill. Keep doing the things you are doing (if you know they are the right things to do).

Gradually, changes you want to make, things you need in your life, will come to you.

Right path?

Sometimes, it's kind of funny to listen to our leaders saying things that they were definitely didn't mean it.

They said they wanna train more thinkers in Malaysia, to have more creative, innovative people, to value-add the services in Malaysia, so we can compete with the world outside.

The question: Can you handle them?

Question: Do you know how to use them?

Another question: Can you see through the colour, and use the best?

And then they said they want to train young leaders to be on the right path.

Funny thing is:

After 50 years of wandering around, do we know which one is the right path for Malaysia?

Anyone can tell us?

Get out of

When will Malaysia will get out of the mud of racist issues, and progress to a real modern and relevant society?

When will Malaysian government will be trustable?

Seems like even the opposition is not accountable anymore.

When will we all will move on, to have more progressive thinking, to develop the country?

I think, we, as the normal civilians don't ask much.

We just want our country to be more competitive economically, so we won't be left behind, like 10 years, compared to other countries.

Now, I don't even want to ask about all those 'sensitive' racial and political issues anymore.

I just want a simple developing country to live in.

Is that too much to ask for?

Invest?

Seems like many people rushing to invest nowadays.

Buying house, share, unit trust, and so on.

Why so rush?

They said: Now everything is in low price, should buy now and later on, the price will go up.

What makes they all so sure?

I don't know.

I don't see anyway that the market is going stronger.

The governments all around the world just prescribing pain killer to control the pain of the disease, without treating the disease.

Creating more debts to boost the economy while the main cause of this economy recession is debt itself.

Economy recovery funds? Recover from what?

Blame it on my youth

I care about what is happening around me. That's why I blog about things around me.

I care, therefore I voice up in this blog.

After hiatus so long from blogging, I guess, I need to blog again, to train my thinking.

I don't want to be a blind follower. I need to be a independent thinker.

Blame it on my youth.
